GP Monastra - Sold to NSW

I was actually trying to help Cindy buy a horse and I went with her to look at most of them.  I can't remember how many we looked at but it was a lot.  I was amazed at how misleading most of the sellers were.  Sometimes we arrived to find the horse sold, sometimes the horse was lame, some were not suitable even though we were very specific about what we wanted.  Some didn't pass the vet check and some were just awful.  GP Monastra was actually my riding horse at the time and with a young baby I decided to let Cindy trial and lease him for 6 months before she bought him.  We bought Monty as a foal on his dam GP Monalita.  He is by the well known and sort after stock horse sire Wnyastra.  Monty was perfect for the adult learner rider, he was forgiving and not offended if the rider made a mistake.  Monty was broken in by Andrew McLean and was known for he wonderful canter, so smooth, very expressive and collected for such a young green horse.  Cindy and Monty are out and about at the dressage, he is the big white horse with the most amazing medium trot (she likes to show it off where ever she goes).  Cindy has actually been the best student when she first came to golden park she had never really ridden and now she is competing in the dressage arena.  We are very proud of them both and wish them a long and happy partnership.  GP Monastra is a half brother to GP Falita, GP Falina & GP Regardez Noir.
